NCWQ would like to share an open invitation from our Affiliate member ZONTA CLUB for interested women living or working or studying in Queensland or Northern NSW, to submit an application for the Zonta Advancement Grant (valued at $1,000 each) to improve the status of women. Please share within your networks.
About the Grant
Zonta will offer up to 3 Grants this year. One is designated for a woman from a migrant or refugee background in honour of a member of our Club who died several years ago and left special funds for this purpose. A further grant has been made available through the generosity of another recently deceased Club member.
The publicity brochure and cover sheet below are self-explanatory. It would be much appreciated if you could put these on your notice board, or otherwise draw them to the attention of any women who may be interested and who are using your organisation.
We are particularly interested in drawing this to the attention of women in financial need, as well as women from a migrant or refugee background.
Applicants are asked to include a completed Cover Sheet (see below) with their letter.

The National Council of Women of Queensland Inc (NCWQ) is a non-party-political, non-sectarian, not-for-profit, umbrella organisation with broadly humanitarian and educational objectives. It seeks to raise the awareness of members as to their rights and responsibilities as citizens and encourages their participation in all aspects of community life.
