EVENT 26 NOV: On Friday 26 November 2021, the Queensland Government will proudly host the 2021 White Ribbon Day Breakfast, to help end domestic and family violence. The breakfast will be held from 7am to 9am at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane.
EVENT CANCELLED: Please be advised that this year’s NCWQ Christmas Party has unfortunately been cancelled due to COVID and the rescheduling of various events. We invite you however, to please join us at the President’s Lunch 10 November as we recap the year that was.
EVENT 10 NOV: Join us on Wednesday 10 November for our (rescheduled) NCWQ President’s Lunch to be held at The Tattersall Club, Brisbane. On 23 September 2021, NCWQ hosted our Empowerment session on planning for tomorrow, presented by Jade Duncan from Clinton Mohr Lawyers. Thank you to all who attended. With all the stories we heard about how it can go wrong, one message was loud and clear: planning is key! Proper preparation can help minimise fights and problems coming up down the track, or help ensure your loved ones are well looked after.
EVENT 21 OCT: REMINDER – Please come and join us Thursday 21 October, for the Annual Bursaries Fundraising Morning Tea and Fashion Parade hosted by the National Council of Women of Queensland Inc. This function supports NCWQ sponsored bursaries awarded to Queensland women. We welcome you to join us at this event to acknowledge the contribution the nursing profession has made over the years in improving our health and wellbeing.

The event promises to be better than ever! Celebrate Brisbane Fashion Month by grabbing your fashionista friends and spend an afternoon of fun and fashion on the lawns of Hanworth Hour overlooking the city and nabbing a bargain (or 10!).

We had a wonderful turnout, both in person and online!
