Pacific Council of Women’s Forum – 18 May 2024

The National Council of Women of New Zealand (NCWNZ) and the National Council of Australia (NCWA) warmly invite you to an online Forum for National Councils of Women on Saturday 18 May, 11am – 2pm (Australia East Coast time).

The purpose of this event is to re-establish relationships between the National Councils of Women and other sister organisations across the Pacific nations, so that we can support each other, find common points of interest and potential future collective action.

This event will be divided into two part:

• A webinar with our three guest speakers, followed by a Q&A session

• • Noelene Nabulivou – Executive Director for Diverse Voices and Action (DIVA) for Equality, based in Fjii ;

• • Stephanie Copus Campbell –  Australian Ambassador for Gender Equality ;

• • Tara D’Sousa –  Senior Adviser Inclusive Development Gender for the Manatū Aorere, New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• Breakout rooms to discuss particular issues of concern across our region

• • The care economy

• • Climate justice

• • Women’s health.
