The NCWQ Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month (unless advised), from 4:30pm – 6:30pm
The February meeting will be on Thursday 9 February, 2023.
REMINDER: The NCWQ 2022 AGM will be held on Saturday 19 November via Zoom. All NCWQ members are invited to attend this virtual event. Please view the AGM Information pack and RSVP today.

EVENT 27 AUG We are delighted to advise that NCWQ’s Patron, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland and the Hon Shannon Fentiman MP Attorney-General, Minister for Justice, Minister for Women and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence have both confirmed their attendance at the NCWQ 14th Bursaries Presentation and the NCWQ 2022 President’s Lunch. Please RSVP by 12 August.
EVENT 15 JUNE – The National Council of Women of Queensland Inc would like to invite our new members to a meet and greet evening. We’d love for you to come along, meet some of the current committee members and mingle with other new members of our lovely community.
[LAST CHANCE TO BOOK] EVENT 5 MAY – For our first Women In Leadership session of 2022, we have invited a panel of three successful sports management CEOs to give us their insights into female leadership in sport – Breeanna Brock (CEO of Brisbane Lions AFLW), Kate Davies (CEO of Netball QLD and the QLD Firebirds), and Alison Lyons (CEO of Hockey QLD). The Moderator for the evening will be Ronda Nix, NCWQ Committee Member and Bursary Coordinator for the Queensland Government Office for Women Bursaries. All profits from this event will go to supporting Ukrainian women in QLD. Get your tickets by 3 May.
Applications for the 2022 NCWQ Bursary program are now OPEN as at Monday 4 April 2022 and will CLOSE Monday 23 May 2022. The applications process is online, although there is a print-based form available on request. Submit your online application today!
