With sadness, we acknowledge the passing of Dr Laurel Macintosh OBE, at the age of 98 years. Dr Macintosh was President of NCWQ (1977-1979), President of NCWA (197-1982), Honourary Life Member of NCWQ and Honourary Life Vice-President of NCWA.

This decision affects the constitutional right to access safe termination of pregnancy, and may lead to dire repercussions and limitations for women accessing safe healthcare.
