2022 Bursary Key Dates

Planning continues for the 2022 NCWQ Bursary Program, finalising with sponsors and members of Team Bursary.

  • Monday 4 April 2022 – Applications open
  • Monday 23 May 2023 – Applications close

 
Selections will be finalised by the end of June, with the presentation details to be confirmed, but expected to be towards the end of July.

Specific details of the bursaries on offer are currently being finalised, with details being available on the website closer to the opening date.

The applications process is online, although there is a print-based form available on request.

With the activities in organising for this year’s program ramping up, now is the time for your thoughts to turn to actions, if your schedule suits a busy time over June. About The Bursary Program

Established in 1905, the National Council of Women of Queensland Inc. (NCWQ) continues to represent the voice of thousands of women through its affiliated organisations and individual membership.

The bursary program, since its commencement in 2009, indicates the strong commitment of NCWQ to equality of opportunity for all women, especially in offering assistance to Queensland female students as they pursue their chosen pathway of study.

Last year’s program, through NCWQ and its sponsors, awarded a range of bursaries, to assist Queensland women with their educational expenses. Most bursaries are valued approximately $1,000 each. 2022 Bursary program Application dates released.
