The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women launched its 26th global Call for Proposals, coinciding with the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Applications are open until 11 January 2023.

NCWQ Environment Report By Pat Pepper, NCWQ Environmental Adviser. This report focusses on aspects of the recently released State of the Environment Report, which are pertinent to Queensland. The situation is dire in many aspects. However, the Queensland Government in partnerships with community groups and landowners has an ongoing commitment for improvement and there are several new initiatives. Though, if Australia is to meet its targets more needs to be done.
NCWQ would like to share an open invitation from our Affiliate member ZONTA CLUB for interested women living or working or studying in Queensland or Northern NSW, to submit an application for the Zonta Advancement Grant (valued at $1,000 each) to improve the status of women. Please share within your networks.
