My Health for Life Program – Participant Feedback [Event Recap]

[EVENT RECAP] The Qld govt funded health and lifestyle modification program My Health for Life program was offered to NCWQ members at the beginning 2022. As part of its mission to educate and empower women, the program was hosted online with 2 options (Monday evening, Wednesday afternoon). Both sessions were at capacity and participant has been overwhelmingly positive. Another round of My Health for Life online programs will be offered to members in the second half of 2022.

NCWQ Committee Member Saalihah Seedat receives postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy (Aged Care)

NCWQ Management committee member and Consultant Clinical Pharmacist Saalihah Seedat graduated on 28 March 2022 at Monash University Melbourne with a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy (Aged Care). The Monash University Pharmacy Faculty has been ranked the top #1 Pharmacy school in the world (2022). Mrs Seedat said that she hopes to use her skills and vast knowledge to pioneer a new career pathway for pharmacists commencing 2023.  Congratulations on your achievement Saalihah!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on 3 April 2022, as NCWQ hosted former Queensland detective (who was then working for the International Criminal Court in The Hague), Mr Brendan Rook, for an engaging discussion on the The Betrayal of Anne Frank, Cold Case Investigation. The session was truly informing and enlightening. Attendee Bridget Cullen , GAICD shared her recap of the event on LinkedIn. We’ve included Bridget’s article here.
